About Karookind Sarah Baartman Arts FestivalKarookind Arts & Culture Hub is a dynamic, multi-disciplinary creative centre located in the Sarah Baartman District, Eastern Cape. We honour the rich cultural and heritage legacy of the Eastern Cape—especially the Xhosa and Khoi-San traditions—by creating space for art, culture, sports, and creative expression to flourish.Through a mix of in-person and online programming, we provide platforms and opportunities for local artists, youth, and cultural practitioners to connect with broader audiences.
